Ok, I am one of those pathetically soppy people who believe that in life we are able to have one true love, that can overcome any possible hiccup and problem. BUT, a friend of mine has a completely different opinion. Heres an extract from a txt conversation I had with this friend, see wat you think...

A: You believe everyone has one true love, right?

B: i would like to think so, yeah

A: How do you reacon you know when you meet them, I mean theres no such thing as love at first sight, but it could be the person stacking shelves at the supermarket

B: You just know I suppose, you just feel compelled to get to know them, and you know. the feeling of love isnt instant, but the possibility is

A:How may people have you meant to get to know and you havent? Or said to yourself I should go talk to them? It may sound bad but I think most of us have blown our chance

B:No, I truly dont believe we CAN blow it, meeting at least. When we are meant to love somebody, we wont blow it

A:In reality we are purt on earth to reproduce and pass on ourselves, but how many people do you know are alone with no kids? They would of had a chance sometime!

B:Perhaps it hasnt yet, love is not defined by age, or maybe they ignored it!

A: You know when you got your your palm read, and it said a 'Prctical' marriage? I think if you can get that and have some fun yourself that you should stick with it. If you look back at past relationships, have you ever been truly in love?

B:Nope, Iv loved, but never truly been in love. Practicality is part of mariage, but love is so much more important

A:I love Shannon in a way and we could live together happily

B: Was that you coming out, or are you manipulating the situation to prove a point out of context??
A: Hahaha, I thought your gaydar was never wrong! It wasnt out of context though, just putting a different perspective on it, not to prove a point

B: To love a good friend is to be expected, to love your partner is completely different. There is more than one kind of love

A: I know, thats why people who say they had love at first sight are wrong, but people who are happy togetherthough alwats say their partner is their best friend.....

Ok, I am a web geek! It is now official, and I state this loudly and proudly!
Apparently, the way to tell a web geek from any other name-branded geek is if they belong to some kind of online 'community' of sorts, and BY GOLLY!! I do!!
Recently discovered through a friend the joys that is MySpace, and Im loving it!!
HOWEVER......
There have been one or two scary incidents happening on there to make me wonder if it is truly safe or not....
For one, people have got access (somehow...) to my personal email address, and think that its funny (or productive...) to send me graphic photos of their Netherregions!! And this isnt gender specific!! Hehehehehehe!!
The other thing is when people who add you to their friends list claim to know deep and intimate details of your life, which is really kinda creepy. Some how a guy from Ireland seemed to know what SUBURB of Wellington I lived in (which wasnt mentioned in my profile, CREEPY!!!)
Well, I am off to buy birthday presents, so I will continue this later!!

I would like to clarify one small point before i begin this rant...

Now that that is off my chest, I may begin.
A friend and I went into Countdown a couple of days ago, and in the midst of all the tasty goodness that is coke, sprite and l&p, I came across something rather disturbing... GREEN FANTA!!!1
thats right kiddies, Fanta has taken one more step into the alienation of its true orangey goodness. I was alarmed a while back when they bought in the ice cream soda flavoured fantas, (GROSS!!!!!) But now, they have done it again with SOUR flavoured beverages.
Not one to pass up a new taste experience, I promply placed a bottle of sour apple fanta in my shopping basket, and carried on my merry way, leaving the sour watermelon behind for later trial.
GO FIGURE, it actually tastes rather good (Im a big sour apple ANYTHING fan) BUT!!!! It shouldnt be named 'FANTA'
Fanta is an ORANGE flavoured, ORANGE coloured carbonated drink, that we all used to spend our dairy money on and be told off by our parents for coming home with ORANGE mouths!!! IT IS NOT GREEN< OR PINK or any other godforsaken colour!!

So I will declare this....

I Love Sour Apple Soda Pop, NOT SOUR APPLE FANTA!!!!!

Honestly, some people are so completely numb in the brain!!Anyone who knows me wil realise that I have quite a few male friends, but what REALLY bugs me is when people on the outside of my life think hat because I am socialising with a group of guys, that it means that I am eggin to get into the pants of every last one of them!! Eeeew!
How can people be so fuckin stupid, honestly???
I was out in town last night with one of my close girl friends, and with us we had quite a few males, all of whome I would consider friends. HOWEVER, When I was up dancing on the floor, some little (probably 16 year old sneaking in with her big sisters id) girl came up to me, laughing, saying that I was being greedy... GREEDY!!!!! Gah, little people make me angry.
But this got me thinking. Can a girl ever truly be friends with a guy with out it getting complicated. I think its entirely possible, but maybe Im wrong.....
